DIrections to Les Gets |
Coming from the airport, or driving from the UK, come along the autoroute Mont Blanc from Geneva towards Chamonix. At Cluses turn off following signs for Morzine and Les Gets. You pass through Taninges and then it is about 15 minutes drive to Les Gets.

For a slightly quicker way:
On the A40, after the turning to Annemasse and after the first pay toll, take
exit right signposted "Les Portes du Soleil", Vallee Verte and Thonon
le Bains. Come up to the traffic lights, turn left then second right to Samoens.
Go straight over the roundabout in the direction of Fillinges, then at the
T junction turn right along the national route to St. Jeoire, along to Taninges,
through the town and turn left to Les Gets. (There is a good Super U supermarket
at the entrance to Taninges on your left).

To arrange tranfers to and from Les Gets, we have two services which we
recommend:

based in Morzine.
2 - Alternatively you can arrange transfers with Alp Line on www.alp-line.com.

DIrections to the Chalet |
As you drive in to Les Gets (from Cluses/Taninges), follow the sign for "Toutes Directions, Morzine and Thonon". (Do not turn right to "Les Gets Centre Station"). At the first roundabout, again head for Morzine and Thonon (not Les Gets Centre Ville). At the second roundabout, go straight on towards Morzine. Pass the Mont Chery telecabin on the left. At the third roundabout, keep heading for Morzine. Almost immediately on your left is an Elf petrol station. Just after this, also on the left, is the turning to Le Pontet. It is also signposted "Hotel La Chaumiere". Go down this road, over the small bridge and take the first turning on the left, then immediately first right. Go up this drive, with a chalet on either side. Chalet Tintin is directly ahead at the back, under the carport.
